SHS & SMS Pom Squads Win Big at Camp!

Southaven Pom Squad has completed NDA camp with so much to be proud of! These girls persevered through all types of unexpected bumps throughout the week and I'm so proud to call them mine! Both teams earned a bid to attend the NDA National Championship in Orlando this February, which was our biggest team goal for both schools! So excited to see how these girls continue to grow and perform this season!

Southaven High School Awards: Superior Rating for Home Routine, Gold (1st place) in Team Dance, Superior Rating for Team Dance, Gold (1st place) in Team Leader, the Top Gun Hip Hop Winner (Kimorea McConnell), 6 All-American nominees (Alexus Dotson, Madison Hurley, Destiny Massey, Kimorea McConnell, Paje McKenzie, and Kristin Sartin), 2 NDA All-American team members (Kimorea McConnell and Madison Hurley), the Top All-American Award to Madison Hurley, the Superior Showmanship Award (Destiny Massey), the NDA Spirit Award (voted by all teams at camp), 3 spirit ribbons, 2 technique ribbons, 3 showmanship ribbons, Spirit Stick, and a Bid to NDA Nationals

Southaven Middle School Awards: Innovative Choreography Award for Home Routine, Superior Rating for Home Routine, Gold (1st place) in Team Dance, Superior Rating for Team Dance, the Top Gun Turns Winner (Mirrah Woods), 4 All-American nominees (Piggy Harris, Akyah Murry, Baylei Robertson, and Elibeth Zaragoza), 1 NDA All-American team member (Elibeth Zaragoza), 3 spirit ribbons, 6 showmanship ribbons,Spirit Stick, and a Bid to NDA Nationals.
