The Horn Lake Library and Society for Information Management Information (SIM) are partnering for the third annual DeSoto County Teen Tech Camp to be held at Career Tech West in Horn Lake from July 17 - July 22.  All 13 - 15 year olds in DeSoto County are eligible to participate.  Applications are being accepted now and the process is competitive.

The 2017 Camp information and application can be found on the FRL homepage (www.firstregional.org) and a specialized link http://firstregional.org/teentech2017.html.   David Brown, First Regional Library Public Relations Specialist and award winning artist, has created the new graphics for 2017 Camp.

We are excited to once again team with Career Tech West to offer this free and outstanding learning and networking opportunity to our teens.  Mrs. Theresa Holland, Career Tech West Engineering and Robotics teacher and coordinator will conduct the class along with student mentors providing hands on instruction in a 2 to 1 student / instructor ratio.  Please consider encouraging 13 - 15 year old students to apply and please share 2017 Tech Camp information with students, families, teachers, organizations and businesses.
