MS Hearing/Vision Project Offering Parents, Educators, Paraprofessionals, Related Service Providers & Administrators FREE Online Training & CEU's back button

The Office of Special Education would like to share the following information on behalf of the Mississippi Hearing-Vision Project regarding FREE Online Training to support the needs of children with complex sensory impairments, including those with combined vision and hearing loss.

 

Mississippi Hearing – Vision Project is offering Parents, Educators, Paraprofessionals, Related Service Providers and Administrators

FREE Online Training and Continuing Education Units!

 

This training will be conducted in a supported manner as a Cohort working together through the free national online OPEN HANDS OPEN ACCESS (OHOA) modules. The OHOA modules are designed to provide strategies, knowledge and deepen awareness for realizing increased positive outcomes with children and students who have complex sensory impairments including those with combined vision and hearing loss (deafblindness).

 

LEARN & APPLY all Year Long!

The Cohort’s work begins the last week of September and runs through to May 2017. Each Module takes between 6 – 8 hours to complete. Cohorts work on one module in a month.
