Individual Scholarships

Pfizer's Scholarship Award:  This $2000 scholarship is avaliable to high school seniors who applied to college or a freshman, sophomore, or junior in college.  More information can be found at www.epilepsy-scholarship.com  The deadline is June 15th, 2010.

Help Johnny Scholarship:  This $5000 scholarship is avaliable to any student that is 19 years or under, as of October 25th, 2010 and is renewable.  More information can be found at http://www.studentscholarships.org/helpjohnny.php  Deadline varies.

2010 Independence Day Scholarship:  This $5000 scholarship is open to students al ll national backgrounds that are currently studying in the United States or in an American military school out of the country.  More information can be found at www.joefoss.com/programs/scholarship-program  Deadline is July 2, 2010.

Castle Ink's Green Scholarship:  This $2500 scholarship is for students who are United States citizens or permanent residents with a minimum 2.5 GPA.  More information can be found at www.castleink.comink-scholarship.html  Deadline is July 31, 2010.

Society of American Travel Writers Scholarship: Applicants must be 13-18 and attending grades 8-12 as of May 15, 2010.  The travel experience you write about must have occurred within the last three years.  More information can be found at www.travelbigo.com/scholarships/SATW  Deadline is August 1st, 2010.

The Christian Connector Inc.:  The corporation provides information about christian colleges as well as a chance to enter in a drawing for $2,500.  Go to www.christianconnector.com to request information and to enter for the drawing for the money.

Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers and Firemen Scholarhips:  Scholarships are offered to the children of law enforcement officers and full-time firemen who were killed or disabled on duty.  Applicants must be under 23 years of age.  Awards cover tuition for eight semesters at an all state-supported Mississippi school.  Please got to http://www.mississippiuniversities.com/financialaid/law.html#Award for more information.
