Mrs. Baker has been in  education for eight-teen years. She received her bachelor's degree and master's degree from the University of Mississippi. She taught in Batesville, Mississippi, her hometown, for three years before coming to DeSoto County. She taught at Olive Branch Elementary for eight years and has been in administration for the past seven years.

Mrs. Baker calls DeSoto County home.  When not at school, Mrs. Baker enjoys walking, movies,  reading, shopping, doing crosswords, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with family,friends, and her two dogs.
