George Loper
Mr. George Loper is a graduate of Union High School. He also has his Bachelors and Masters degree from Mississippi State. He taught social studies and coached at Olive Branch High. He was also assistant principal for OBHS and OBMS for four years. Mr. Loper served as Principal at Horn Lake Middle School for five years before coming to work at CHHS. Mr. Loper's hard work and dedication earned him the honor of administrator of the year for DeSoto County Schools in 2003.This begins Mr. Loper's 26th year in the field of education. Mr. Loper's wife of 23 years, Jamie, is also a principal with Desoto County Schools at Pleasant Hill Elementary. They have two children Taylor a Freshmen at Ole Miss, and Blake a 8th grader at CHMS. Mr. Loper enjoys spending time with his family, watching the Atlanta Braves, and loves attending activities at CHHS.
When you feel you've pushed your life to the limit, and you can't go any
further, give that obstacle one last push because that might be the one
that gets you through that heavy door to success. If you don't try that
one last time, you may never know. Go for it.
