Doug Payne, Principal

Mr. Payne has lived in DeSoto County for most of his life and is a graduate of Olive Branch High School. He holds a bachelors and masters degree from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN. He started his teaching career at Hernando High School where he taught special education and coached, soccer, softball, basketball, and tennis. Mr. Payne has spent the last three years as an Assistant Principal at Horn Lake High school. He is married to his lovely wife Rachael and has two beautiful girls, Alayna and Micah. He and his wife are members of the Southaven church of Christ.

Courtney McClatchy, Assistant Principal

Courtney McClatchy has seventeen years of experience in education. She has 
been in DeSoto County Schools for sixteen years.
She received her Bachelor's
Degree in Education from the University of Mississippi. She returned to the
University of Mississippi in 2006 and received her Master's Degree in Educational
Leadership. Before coming to Center Hill Middle School, she was a teacher at
Olive Branch Elementary, Chickasaw Elementary, and Center Hill Elementary and
was an assistant principal at Olive Branch Intermediate. Mrs. McClatchy has been
married to John McClatchy for twenty-one years. They have three daughters; Allie,
Ellen, and Sloan. The McClatchys are member of Red Banks Baptist Church.
