Upon entering DCAC, students earn their way back to their home schools by working their way up a level system. Students progress through four levels: L-A-W-S. These levels are summarized below.

  • Learning - Students learn names of staff and the rules specific to DCAC.  They also recite the program values to progress to the next level. This level may be completed in five successful days.
  • Accepting - Students recite Charles Swindoll's "Attitude Speech". This level may be completed in ten(10) successful days.
  • Working - Students write an essay assigned by their group leader.  This level may be completed in ten(10) days.
  • Succeeding - Students work on their re-entry meeting at their home school. This meeting is attended by the student and parent and must be completed successfully for the student to re-enter the home school.  This level may be completed in five(5) successful days.

NOTE: A successful day is a feedback sheet score of "90" or above.
