Emergency E-Alerts
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a virus technicality, all parents subscribed to the Emergency Weather Alert with a yahoo.com email address are experiencing delays and non-delivery. Therefore, we cannot guarantee delivery from a yahoo.com domain at this time.

EMERGENCY E-ALERT SYSTEM
All Weather Alerts will be sent out as soon as the webmaster receives notice from transportation that school will be closed. In some instances, the email system may be delayed due to technical circumstances beyond our control.
You should always check your local news channel for closings if you have any concerns about your email delivery.
Some of the reasons the E-Alert may not be delivered to your inbox include:
- Internet traffic (SLOWNESS)
- We are currently experiencing problems with all subscriptions on the earthlink.net domain. If your email address includes this domain (example: smith@earthlink.net), the automated system will NOT deliver to your account if you have enabled the spam blocker. This spam blocker requires that the sender (DCS) must not be blacklisted and be on the white-list. IF THIS IS THE CASE, PLEASE USE AN ALTERNATE EMAIL OR DISABLE THE AUTO-SPAM BLOCK NOTIFICATION ON YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT.
- Your email box is full.
- When subscribing, you typed the email address incorrectly.
- Some cell phone providers experience delays in email. This is also beyond our control. Please contact your cell phone provider if you do not receive an alert that has been broadcast.
- DCS WILL ALWAYS POST THE CLOSING AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE ON THE FRONT PAGE OF EVERY SCHOOL WEBSITE AS SOON AS THE WEBMASTER RECEIVES WORD.
To sign up for the system, please click the E-Alert button below. Note: If you have more than one child at different schools, you will only need to sign up one time for the EMERGENCY WEATHER ALERT, however, you should check the E-Alerts link at the school website in order to receive any other school alerts.
