Mission Statement
The Employee Services Department provides leadership for the Desoto County School District to establish, implement and improve human resource management policies and practices in public education. Our goal is to provide personal, confidential, timely, and effective service to all employees in the areas of Benefits and Insurance matters. The Department keeps all employees abreast of information and opportunities necessary for them to make good sound choices. We are here for the employees and administration of our district. In addition, human resource management services are provided for: Progressive Discipline, Termination, Separation, Family Medical Leave, (FMLA) Worker’s Compensation, American Disabilities Act (ADA), Grievance Procedures, Equal Opportunity in the workplace, Performance Review & Development, Occupational Health and Safety, Support and Induction of new staff.
