Academic Education Mrs. Jennifer Weeks |
| The 2011/2012 school year marks the beginning of Mrs. Jennifer Weeks' fifth year as Assistant Superintendent of Academic Education. Prior to this position, she served as the District Test Coordinator for DeSoto County Schools (DCS). |
Within Academic Education, Mrs. Weeks leads the following team of departments: Assessment, Curriculum, ELL, Federal Programs, Intervention Services, Leadership Development, Special Education, Textbooks, and Title I. |

Mrs. Weeks is a believer in the "Power of Team." She promotes a positive, supportive environment throughout the departments and expects her staff to extend the same attitude to the administrators, teachers, and colleagues with whom they work. |

Although she believes curriculum is at the heart of Academic Education, Mrs. Weeks' primary goal is to guide a team that utilizes data-driven, research-based strategies to provide a support system for the administrators and teachers in DCS. |
