Mrs. Kizer is beginning her 4th year as Special Education Director in the 2011-2012. She has been in Special Education as a teacher and administrator for 35 years. As a long-time special educator, Mrs. Kizer believes that it is our district's responsibility to provide education for all children with disabilities that meet their unique needs. IDEA requires that students with disabilities be provided a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). Mrs. Kizer's goal is to uphold FAPE standards by providing educational benefits to students with disabilities in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). |
