After serving as assistant principal at Horn Lake Elementary for  seven years, I was appointed principal.  Before coming to Horn Lake Elementary, I held the positions of bus driver, teacher's assistant, regular classroom teacher, special education teacher, and tech pre teacher.  After attending Marshall County Academy I received a Bachelors of Education Degree and a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of Mississippi.

I am married and am the mother of four children who are now strong, successful adults.  I am also the proud gramdmother of six beautiful grandchildren.   As of August 2007, my family has grown by leaps and bounds. It consists of 650 kindergarten through second grade students that entrust me to lead them on the educational path toward successful living.  It is with the cooperation of parents like you, my faculty, and wonderful students that we can achieve educational success.
