Classification of Students

Classification of students is based on credits and passing of appropriate English for the grade level:

  • Freshman (Grade 9): Earned less than 6 credits
  • Sophomore (Grade 10): Earned a minimum of 6 credits and successfully completed  English I                                                                          
  • Junior (Grade 11): Earned at least 12 credits and successfully completed English II
  • Senior (Grade 12): Earned at least 18 credits and successfully completed English III

Note:  English must be passed each year to be promoted to the next grade.
