Graduation Requirements

Students must pass all SATP state tests in order to receive a diploma and participate in graduation exercises.  The state tests are in the areas of English II writing and multiple choice, U.S. History, Biology I, and Algebra I.                                   


Graduation requirements for students entering 9th grade for the first time in the 2008-2009 school year:

 

 English........................ 4 units
 Math……………...........  4 units
 Science…………..........  4 units
 Social Studies…….......  4 units
 Health ……………........  1/2 unit 
 Computer Education..... 1 unit
 The Arts………............   1 unit 
 PE…………........ 1/2 unit 
 Electives…………........ 5 units 
  Total Credits…………........ 24  

Note: Those who fall behind the graduation requirements for students entering 9th grade for the first time in the 2008-2009 school year will need to see their counselor for additional options.
