Juniors

Students and Parents:

  • Anyone interested in attending West Point after graduation needs to see Mrs. Walker, Senior Counselor--West Point offers an annual summer Leaders Seminar in June, and Mrs. Walker can give you the information.
  • Time to start planning . . .
Step One: Pass all courses you are currently taking
    Step Two: Take the ACT
Step Three: Begin looking at colleges and universities . . .  you can find information online
(Everyone who wants to go to college can go with a little effort! It begins with the ACT!)
  • If you receive free or reduced lunch, you may see Mrs. Hogue for a fee waiver for the ACT; this allows you to take the test at NO COST! You may have ONLY TWO fee waivers in high school, and you must be a junior or a senior to get a fee waiver. We keep a record. If you do not use the waiver, you do not get one to replace it. You may not pick one up for a friend. If you lose one and we replace it, that counts as your second waiver and you are not eligible for any additional waivers. Fee waivers do not cover the LATE FEE if you miss the deadline.
  • ACT information pamphlet available in the Counselors' Complex; registration is completed online.
