Meet Mrs. Gowen

 

Carla Gowen is a lifetime resident of Desoto County graduating from Southaven High School in 1990.  She is married to Clint Gowen and resides in Hernando.  Together they have three children, Caleb, Cameron, and Colleen. 

Mrs. Gowen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Mississippi.  After teaching third grade at Oak Grove Central and Hernando Hills Elementary, Mrs. Gowen received a scholarship to the University of Mississippi in 2010.  Through the Ole Miss Principal Corps Program, she interned at Desoto Central High School and Lewisburg Middle School completing her degree in Educational Leadership. 

Mrs. Gowen is excited to be a part of the Horn Lake family and is looking forward to a wonderful year.  Go Eagles!
