Horn Lake Middle

Mission:

The purpose of this club is to open students’ experiences to literature in a different format other than books.  Students will be given the opportunity to learn about all various activities involved in producing a play.  Students will have the opportunity to work together in a group, which will increase team building skills, time management skills, problem solving skills, self-confidence and self-esteem.

Meetings:

Drama Club meetings will be held every other week or twice a month.  During rehearsal students maybe required to meet several times a week for auditions and practices. 

Special Notes:

• A fee up to 10 dollars may apply.  The fee will be used for refreshments at rehearsals and to sponsor events.  
• Drama club members will be involved in designing the stage set-up and costumes.
• Drama Club membership will be open to any 7^th and 8^th graders (who meet the requirements). 
• Meetings will be scheduled at least 14 days in advance.
