Amanda Samples
 Principal

Mrs. Samples has lived in DeSoto County for the past eight years.  She received her bachelor's degree from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN and her master's degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN.  Mrs. Samples is beginning her eighth year in administration.  She served as an assistant principal for two years at Horn Lake Middle School and three years as the assistant principal at Hernando Hills Elementary School.  Before becoming an assistant principal, Mrs. Samples taught fifth grade language arts at Drummonds Elementary School in Tipton County, TN.  Mrs. Samples is married to Dan Samples.  They reside in Southaven with their three daughters.

 Lisa Nye
Assistant Principal 

Mrs. Nye is originally from Louisiana but has called Mississippi home for the past twelve years.  She and her husband recently celebrated their nineteenth anniversary and currently reside in Southaven with their four children.  Mrs. Nye received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS and her master’s degree from Delta State in Cleveland, MS.  She has ten years experience in Desoto County Schools.  This is her sixth year as assistant principal at Hope Sullivan Elementary.
