Lake Cormorant Middle

About Me:

My name is Stephanie Sartain.  This is my third year as a middle school librarian.  I taught 8th grade English for 8 years, two of those years here at L.C.M.S.  I received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Crichton College and a Master in the Art of Teaching from Christian Brothers Univeristy.  I am married to John Sartain, a coach and teacher at L.C.H.S.; we are the proud parents of a baby boy born October 8, 2009. 

I enjoy reading a variety of literature.  Some of my favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks, Karen Kingsbury, and John Grisham.  My all time favorite book is "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks.

I am so excited about this school year.  I look forward to working with the students of L.C.M.S. I hope that they will develop a love for reading, or at least a "like" of reading, and learn to use the resources available to help in research.
