Lewisburg Elementary School Counselor

I am so fortunate to be the counselor at Lewisburg Elementary! We have a terrific staff and the very best students.

Before coming to Lewisburg, I attended and graduated from Arkansas State University.  My husband and I moved to the Memphis area and then Desoto County. I taught first grade for seven years. During that time, I began graduate school at the University of Memphis. After graduating with my Masters Degree, I began working as a school counselor in Desoto County.  Following that, I earned recognition as a National Certified School Counselor.

The Lewisburg Elementary Counseling Department offers a variety of services for students.  Classroom Guidance, small group counseling and individual counseling are provided. Referrals for students and families to various community agencies for assistance are made as needed. It is my goal to do my best to help meet the needs of our students so that they are able to excel in the classroom and in life!
