Mu Alpha Theta

State Mu Alpha Theta Convention Winners 2010

The OBHS Mu Alpha Theta students attended their state convention on April 6th and 7th.  The students represented Olive Branch High School extremely well and they won several honors as listed below.

Zach Kendall placed 8th individually and 5th by school on the geometry test.
Jesus Pulido placed 8th individually on the trig test.
Allison Welch placed 4th by school on the statistics test.

Kemary Barnes, Alma Godoy, Timmy Langston, and Jared Rabren placed 10th
on the Relay team.

Teri Conklin, Adam Jordan, Jesus Pulido and Tracie West placed 6th on the Hustle team.

The OBHS video was produced by Adam Jordan, Jesus Pulido, and Jared Rabren placing 6th and the scrapbook was organized by Brittney Walters placed 7th.

Adam Jordan was the big prize winner.  He placed 1st individually and 1st by school on the trig test.  Adam Jordan was elected as the district governor for the state board.

Blue Mountain Math-Science Tournament
Winners on Feb. 16.
 

The students competed in Geometry, Algebra II and various science tests.  The geometry team (those in white band shirts) won 2nd place. Jesus Pulido won 2nd in Algebra II, Kemary Barnes won 2nd in Geometry and Tori Conklin won 3rd in Geometry.
