Pleasant Hill Elementary

My name is Marsha Foster.  I am currently a school counselor at PHE and DCM.  I moved to Desoto County in 2007 from my home state of Arkansas.  I graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a Master's   degree in Counselor Education.  Before becoming a school counselor, I taught 3rd and 4th grade.  I have been a school counselor in Arkansas and Desoto County for the past 8 years.  I recently completed my National Board Examination and am now a National Certified School Counselor.

I am married to Mike Foster, who is a civil engineer for Pickering Firm in Southaven.  We have two children, Ashley and Cameron, who attend Desoto Central Schools.  Our family resides in Southaven.  I am very excited to be a part of the Desoto County School system.
