Meet Mrs. Cobbs

Our Assistant Principal

Mrs. Cobbs has been in Desoto County almost four years. She relocated from her home state of North Carolina. She and her family lived in Charlotte for nearly ten years. 

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Middle School Education from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, NC. and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Wintrop University, Rockhill, SC.  Mrs. Cobbs has a vast degree of prior experiences in Education. She has served as an Educational Assistant in her North Carolina Air National Guard Unit,  as a classroom teacher, Academic Lead Teacher, worked in Curriculum and Instruction, and as an Assistant Principal in the state of Virginia.

She is married to Michael Cobbs and they reside in Olive Branch. She has two daughters, Nisson and Alexis. Nisson is in the Airforce stationed in Alaska. Alexis is a fourth grader at Pleasant Hill Elementary.

Mrs. Cobbs has enjoyed working at Pleasant Hill Elementary for the past three years and is looking forward to many more.
