Important Parent Portal Announcement
Desoto County Schools is moving to online registration for students for the 2012-2013 school year.
Please log in to your parent portal account and verify your email address. Online registration codes will be sent out via email this summer. If you do not have a parent portal account, please go to your child's school and pick up your access ID and password. The access ID is used to create your parent portal account.

NoXcuses Basketball is hosting a 3 on 3 Basketball League on Monday nights at the Southaven Middle School Gym. There will be leagues for kids going into grades 5, 6, 7, and 8.The leagues will begin on May 14th and run for 8 weeks. Cost: $35 per 4 week session. Contact Coach Eldon Lawyer at 901-488-4007 if you are interested. Southaven High School coaches strongly recommend that students interested in playing HS ball participate in this league.

2012-2013 Congratulations to the 4th grade Knowledge Bowl Team for placing 4th place in the DeSoto County Knowledge bowl Tournament! Congratulations to the 5th grade Knowledge Bowl Team for placing 3rd place in the DeSoto County Knowledge Bowl Tournament!
Pennies for Pasta SIS National Honor Society will be collecting "Pennies for Pasta" from February 20-March 9. Pennies for Pasta is a fundraising program through the Olive Garden to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
$500 for the School Library The National Honor Society donated $500 to the SIS school library. Students raised this money through the sale of chicken biscuits. |
