I am so excited and honored to be the principal of the new Southaven Intermediate School. I received my Bachelor of Science from East Texas State University in Texarkana, Texas where I taught for several years before returning to the area. I also taught at DeSoto Central Elementary School for three years before returning to school at Delta State University.  There I received a Master of Education.  Since that time, I have served as assistant principal at DeSoto Central Elementary School for the past four years. 

I have been married for 25 years to Paul Williams who is a graduate of Olive Branch High School.  I have two sons.  John David Williams who graduated from DeSoto Central High School and attends the University of Mississippi and Ben Williams who is a freshman at Northwest Community College. My boys have received an excellent education in the Desoto County School system. 

It is my goal that every child receive that same opportunity. I feel priviledged to be a part of your child's educational journey. Feel free to contact me at anytime if I can be of service to you.  I am looking forward to a wonderful new year at our new school!
