Welcome to the

SMS Library

Students are encouraged to READ and participate in our Accelerated Reader Program.  Our S.T.A.R. Program is in place to enable students to determine their accurate reading level.  Students accumulating 50 or more AR points during each semester are invited to a Pizza Party in the library.   In addition, our top point earners are given gift cards at the party.

We have a one book per check-out limit. Students may keep the book for a period of 10 school days.  We do charge a fine of 10 cents per day for overdue books.

Students are encouraged to visit the library for research, AR testing, and independent study.  The library staff is always available to help in any way.
