Guardian will provide what is called “continuity of care” when the carrier changes on January 1, 2017. Guardian will pick up where AlwaysCare leaves off and pay any remaining benefits. You should ask your dentist/orthodontist to request an authorization from Guardian Insurance, so you will know exactly what Guardian Insurance will pay for the remainder of your child’s orthodontia treatment.
