The Office of Workforce Development equips students with the skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary for career success in today’s global economy. Through career exploration, industry partnerships, and hands-on learning, we help students graduate confident, adaptable, and prepared to contribute to their communities and the workforce.
This work is made possible through the combined efforts of our dedicated Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers and administrators, Career Coaches, and Work-Based Learning (WBL) Coordinators, who collaborate to provide students with high-quality instruction, individualized career guidance, and real-world experiences. Together with families, local businesses, and community stakeholders, we are building the future workforce of Desoto County.
