“Money Matters” Series Brings Financial Literacy to Life at Horn Lake High School

Horn Lake High School has launched a new initiative to help students strengthen their understanding of personal finance through a short-format video series titled “Money Matters.” Produced by Horn Lake’s EVTV student media team, the series provides quick, engaging lessons on essential financial literacy topics that impact students now and in the future.

Each 1–2 minute episode highlights practical financial skills such as budgeting, saving, credit awareness, and smart money management—helping students build a foundation for lifelong financial success.

This innovative series was made possible through the support of Keenen Leake, Investment Advisor Representative at First Horizon Advisors, whose partnership has provided students with access to real-world financial expertise and professional guidance.

The first two episodes of “Money Matters” have already aired and are available for viewing through the links below. The series will continue throughout the school year, empowering students to make informed financial decisions as they prepare for life beyond high school.
