CES Teacher of the Year
Chickasaw Elementary School
Posted On: Monday, February 06, 2017

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year!!

Dionne Weaver, a second grade teacher, has been elected by her peers as the 2016-2017 Teacher of the Year! This is her ninth year at Chickasaw Elementary. She also worked at OBES for about eight years. She graduated with honors from Crichton College with a degree in elementary education with a 4.0 grade point average for her entire college career.

She feels her greatest accomplishment is her family. She has three daughters Mallary, a nurse, Moriah who is married to John and has a beautiful daughter named Vivian, and Macie who thinks she's as big as her two sisters and is a 2nd grader at CES.

Dionne is married to a wonderful husband, Rusty and feels truly blessed beyond measure!

CES is very thankful to have Mrs. Weaver as one of the wonderful teachers on staff!
